Crafted Admissions brings a sense of calm and genuine enthusiasm to the college admissions process.We believe students should choose a college intentionally, rather than hoping a college chooses them, and be genuinely prepared to apply. No panic required!Through our unique blend of admissions insight and supportive education, we coach students and families through every stage of admissions. Our MasterClasses enable students to trust their instincts, and have true ownership over their college applications and essays.
Meet Michaela
After writing professionally for the magazines owned by the American Paint Horse Association, I worked as an admissions counselor for the University of Nebraska. Missing writing terribly, I found a way to blend my two passions of writing and working with students for their future in the college counseling field. After leaving UNL, I helped build a college counseling company to become one of the largest college counseling firms in the country for 8 years before starting Crafted Admissions to bring every idea I've had to life.From my experience as a former admission counselor and Honors recruiter in Business, Pre-med and Engineering, I’ll help you identify the schools where you’ll thrive and guide you through the process to get on their campus.

ServicesAlthough I am currently full on full-time seniors for the 2026-2027 year, I am available for limited packages. Personal Statement and Common App Review single sessions are available for a $250 flat fee.

$500 Retainer paid up front, time tracked and pulls from retainer at $75/hour rate
This pricing is here to reduce the unknown of a generic "inquire here!" button, to have a baseline hourly rate and package pricing in advance. In my pricing models, you will never be asked to pay a $5,000 retainer up front or be hit with hidden fees.
